the sow’s ear is perhaps the prettiest reception room in the four corners. It offers dramatic views of the needles mountains, engineer peak and the hermosa cliffs. It is airy, yet intimate and understated. oversized tables and chairs, massive candlesticks, heavy flatware and gourmet wine glasses lend a feeling of substance and elegance to your celebration. many brides don’t even feel the need to decorate. many others enjoy selecting flowers to complement the decor and the natural tones that predominate go very well with any color scheme.

we specialize in intimate weddings of 60 to 100 guests. we offer multi-course dinner service in the sow’s ear and have prepared custom wedding menus ranging in price from $16 to $100 per person. smaller parties may opt for buffet service. no matter what your taste or budget we will craft you a wedding feast your guests will long remember.

in addition to the sow’s ear, the silverpick lodge offers another venue, the columbine room in which to have a reception.

the columbine room seats up to 60 guests and is located adjacent to an outdoor patio. the walls are paneled with cedar planks and the ceiling is made up of tongue and groove aspen. oak top tables and sleigh style oak chairs round out the decor making for a distinctive and warm setting. the sow’s ear offer a buffet dinner service in the columbine room.

both the sow’s ear and the columbine room feature full bar service. you may choose to host the bar yourself or opt for a cash bar. oftentimes beer and wine is offered at no charge and liquor is made available for purchase to your guests. of course, we will be pleased to suggest wines from our extensive list to compliment your meal.
